how to build a light saber ? part 1

So I guess the first question is: why to build a light saber? and the answer will be : because of a kid...(8 years old),
Now the initial request was for a "real light saber" not a fake one (which can't really destroy things, the kids really wanted a real light saber)
This lead to the other question (oh boy my engineering head is working like crazy) , why not?
is there away to build a real light saber? the answer my friends - depends on who you're asking.....

now this goes into a total different level...because the simple straight answer will be : NO...

but let's talk about this for a second: have you ever seen is an even-toed ungulate mammal, the tallest of all land living animal species. Males can be 4.8 to 5.5 metres (16 to 18 feet) tall and weigh up to 900 kilograms (2000 pounds). Females are generally slightly shorter and weigh less.long necks which allow them to browse on the leaves of trees, and elongated forelegs (which are much longer than the hind legs)  there are no extra vertebrae, but each of the seven bones is greatly enlarged. Bone constitutes the bud-like horns called ossicorns,  heart, which can weigh up to 24 lb (10 kg), has to generate around double the normal blood pressure for a large mammal in order to maintain blood flow to the brain against gravity. In the upper neck, a complex pressure-regulation system called the rete mirabile prevents excess blood flow to the brain when lowers its head to drink.

so what is it?

 Yes, a Giraffe.

now if this can work - a light saber for sure can work - this just makes me "expert in Giraffes" ....

next time, how we build it....
